Dr. Elizabeth Jankowski is an IDEA Education Programs Consultant for School-Age Special Education with the Oregon Department of Education. In this capacity, she provides technical assistance and professional development in implementation of federal and state laws, regulations, and rules related to special education. Her passion is also in improving the outcomes of students experiencing early literacy difficulties through implementation of effective systems of support. Dr. Jankowski has over 40 years of experience working in special education as a teacher, consultant, and researcher.
Georgeann Harty serves as the Low Incidence Disability Specialist for the Oregon Department of Education. In this role, she collaborates closely with Regional Inclusive Services to provide technical assistance, deliver professional development, and partner with stakeholders across the state. Georgeann is dedicated to strengthening educational systems to support student success. With a career in education spanning more than three decades, she has held a variety of roles since 1991, including instructional aide, teacher, consultant, and special education director.
